Dr. Robbins has been an educator since 1998. He earned his B.S. in Middle School and Secondary Education (grades 4-12) from Samford University in 1998, and his Masters (2003), Educational Specialist (2005) and Doctor of Education (2011) degrees in Educational Leadership from UAB.
Dr. Robbins started his career teaching science at Berry Middle School, teaching at Berry from 1998-2005. From 2005-2011, Dr. Robbins proudly served as assistant principal at R.F. Bumpus Middle School, then accepted the challenge of opening the brand new Brock's Gap Intermediate School (grades 5 and 6) in Hoover 2011. During the summer of 2012, Dr. Robbins returned "home" to Berry Middle School as Associate Principal and was later named Principal in August 2013. He is thrilled and proud to be back serving the teachers, students and families at Berry Middle School.
Outside of school, Dr. Robbins enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, teaching in his small group at church and working around the house. He has been married to his wife since 1999 and is the proud father of three wonderful children - ages 11, 8 and 4.
